Sciberus and MyStemKits wind the year up with Year Up
Year Up’s FIRST technology fair.
On Friday, December 16th, 2016, the Sciberus team visited the Year Up Greater Atlanta campus as guests of their first technology fair.
Coordinated by Raphael Gentry. The fair gave the Year Up students a chance to directly interact with the technologies they were studying. Students were able to visit stations occupied by representatives from Sciberus and Microsoft to engage in discussion and physical demonstrations of the technology being presented to them through Year Up’s curriculum. The displays covered technologies that represented coding, robotics, sensor technology, 3D printing, 3D gaming, 3D modeling, and programming.
The visit to Year Up’s technology fair is just another example of how MyStemKits connects with the community to bring awareness to technologies that are not always available to the youth within our communities. Building great relationships with our technology community is a big part of our mission and we are doing everything we can to hold true to that mission,
